Visa Information

Welcome to JapanTrips.co! If you are planning a trip to Japan, understanding the visa requirements is essential. Below is a comprehensive guide to help you navigate the visa application process.

Japan has different visa policies depending on nationality, travel purpose, and duration of stay. Many countries have visa exemption agreements with Japan, allowing short-term stays for tourism. Check the list below to see if you require a visa:

  • Visa Exempt Countries: Nationals of certain countries can enter Japan without a visa for short-term stays (up to 90 days). Countries include the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and most EU nations. A return ticket and sufficient funds may be required.

  • Countries Requiring a Visa: If your country is not on the exemption list, you must apply for a visa before arrival.
